Ojas Balls

About the Recipe

Ojas-building deliciousness

Ingredients

2 cups of raw nuts/seeds, like almonds, soaked in water overnight

2 Tablespoons Cacao or Cocoa Powder

1 teaspoon Cinnamon Powder

1/2 teaspoon Cardamom Powder

1/2 teaspoon Ginger Powder

1/2 teaspoon Himalayan Salt (or any salt)

9 Medjool dates, soaked in water overnight

2 Tablespoons of maple syrup, honey, or jaggery (each will lend a different taste and benefits)


Optional:


1/4 cup raw or roasted shredded coconut

3 Tablespoons Cacao or Cocoa Powder

Preparation

Soak the nuts, seeds, and almonds overnight.


Chop the nuts and seeds in a food processor, but don't make them into nut butter.


Add the rest of the ingredients to the food processor and blend just until combined--avoid blending it so much that it becomes liquid.


Form into balls.


Optionally, roll in coconut, Cacao, and or Cocoa Powder
